Hey there!

Hi, I’m Geoff. I spend my days pointing kids toward two things most people walk right past: the water below and the sky above.

A drop of pond water under a microscope is a whole galaxy of living things. A patch of night sky is an ocean going the other direction. I’ve never been able to decide which one I love more, so I stopped trying — because the truth is they’re the same impulse. Look closer. Ask what’s really going on. Get your hands wet and your neck sore from staring up.

Ripplebound is where I share what I build, what I learn, and what I mess up along the way — classroom aquariums, backyard telescopes, turtle enclosures, aquaponic systems, and whatever the current sky is doing this month. Some of it’s practical how-to. Some of it’s just wonder for its own sake. All of it comes from actually doing the thing, not reading about it.
